These locks come from our White faced Leicester Longwool ewes which we mainly keep for their fleeces though we breed from them too every few years. They are lustrous, soft and white with creamy tips The fleeces are scoured and hand washed using an eco friendly detergent. The locks are in a relatively processed state, meaning I have separated the locks, still preserving a lot of its curly structure. 
 
The locks are fantastic for spinning either in art yarns but also worsted spun wool and both wet and needle felting.  I also use them in weaving. The lengths of the locks vary from 7 to 10 inches
