These locks come from our Black faced Leicester Longwool ewes, Fruit and Nut which we mainly keep for their fleeces though we breed from them too every few years. The colour range is subtle and varied from ivory through grey and light brown.  The fleeces are scoured and hand washed using an eco friendly detergent. The locks are in a relatively processed state, meaning I have separated the locks, still preserving a lot of its curly structure. 
 
These lustrous locks are fantastic for spinning either in art yarns but also worsted spun wool and both wet and needle felting.  I also use them in weaving. The lengths of the locks vary from 7 to 9 inches
